Horseback From The Camper's Point of View

ASCCA Counselor training and orientation is underway.

This video will give you an idea of what one version of our equestrian program is like. In the video you'll see the fun, safe horse ring rides that many of our campers experience throughout the year.

Camp ASCCA 30th Anniversary - Alumni Reunion

ASCCA is celebrating 30 years of service. We'd like for all of our former counselors, program staff and volunteers to return for a party.

In the video below, Tom Collier talks about the event.

Check out all the Camp ASCCA news at our new site filled with video, audio and more. We have thousands of photos in our Flickr site, too.

Camp ASCCA starts to blog...

OK, my hope is to give this to the camp which changed my life. It is Camp ASCCA / Easter Seals. The world's largest camp of its kind. ASCCA is the Alabama Special Camp for Children and Adults.

Located in Jackson Gap, AL, ASCCA sits within 260 acres of beautiful wilderness - and, is an oasis.

Barrier-free (miles of paved concrete wheelchair paths), air-conditioned cabins and lodges with a capacity to hold 300 'campers' at any given time.

Visit their site at campascca.org.
